The mFOODIE Story

It began with my wife and I wanting to eat better. We decided to start with fresher and local foods. Naturally, this led us to farmers markets.

At the farmers markets we would run into our friends; eating breakfast, buying veggies and fruits, and just meandering around the vendors. It turned into a social event every Saturday morning!

We got to talking about how nice it would be to know more about market events, vendor specials, and what vendors were at a market. Did the hours change? What’s new with the market?

We all agreed that we would want this information when we travelled so we could still eat fresh food and enjoy farmers markets. Basically, we wanted an easy way to discover complete, current farmers market information in one convenient place.

We thought: "Now, THAT would be a cool app we would use!"

So...Introducing mFOODIE! mFOODIE is focused on improving the farmers market experience, supporting the local businesses, and enjoying the social aspects of markets too!
